Prospective Season Ticket Holders

If you have ever considered season tickets, now is a great time to act.

Season Ticket Requests

One of the many benefits donors to Wisconsin Athletics enjoy is the opportunity to request men’s basketball season tickets. Requests for season tickets will be accepted from all donors contributing a minimum of $50 (Walk-On Club level in 2014) and higher, by July 15.

It is expected that a very limited number of season tickets will become available for prospective season ticket holders in 100 or 200 level sections due to a predicted high rate of retention from existing season ticket holders. For additional information regarding contributions which could impact your ability to be offered season tickets in high demand areas, please contact the Athletic Development Office at (608) 262-1000.

While there is expected to be a good amount of availability for new or additional season tickets in 300 level sections, it is important to note that some requests may not be filled if demand for tickets exceeds supply, or if a request is very detailed and cannot be filled due to the specific nature of the request.

The preferred way to request season tickets is online at UWBadgers.com. Patrons may also request season tickets by phone during regular hours (8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday) or by mailing the donor request form to the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office.

Pricing and Request Deadline

New Season Ticket Seat Location Requests

Patrons may request specific seats, but such requests may be difficult to fulfill. We recommend making location requests as broadly as possible.

  • Please keep the following in mind when making a seat location request:
  • Seat location requests are reviewed and allocated based on availability, annual giving level and descending priority points within each annual giving level.

  • Make season locations requests online or in writing on your donor request application.

  • Your annual contribution must be received by July 15 for consideration.

Each request is reviewed. Personal consultation is not always feasible. Decisions are based on the best judgment of the Athletic Department.

I am a current season ticket holder. How do I request a seat change/improvement?

Season ticket attrition rates are expected to be extremely low again this season and thus granting seating changes (improvements) may be difficult. Please keep the following points in mind if you wish to request a seat change:

  • Changes are based on availability, annual giving level, and then descending priority point order within each giving level.

  • The number of years requesting seating changes does not factor into the request process and requests are not carried over from the previous year.

  • Requests for seating changes should be in writing and placed on, or attached to, your ticket application.

  • In order to be considered for seats that become available, your ticket application must be received by July 15.

  • If you are part of a group, state whether you are willing to split from the group in order to change your seating location. The more seats involved, the harder it becomes to fulfill your request.

Each request is reviewed by the Athletic Department, but the volume of requests may not make personal consultation feasible. Decisions are based on the best judgment of the Athletic Department. The Athletic Department reserves the right to change any seat assignment without prior notice, thus there are no guarantees.

How do I request single game tickets?

If available, donors and season ticket-holders will have the first opportunity to purchase single game and package tickets. Should there be a sale of single game/package tickets, patrons will be notified no later than the end of September.

Tickets for away games are not available through the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office. Please contact the host school for ticket information and availability.

I am a current season ticket holder. How do I request additional seats?

Season ticket holders, who are also donors, have the opportunity to request additional season tickets. Patrons should make the request on the ticket order form but should not include payment for the additional seats. The Athletic Department encourages patrons to make the request as broadly as possible to increase the chances of the request being fulfilled. Patrons may request specific seats on the order form, but please realize such requests will be difficult to fulfill. If your request for additional season tickets is fulfilled, the Athletic Department will e-mail an invoice to you in August or early September. All requests for additional season tickets will be reviewed first based on annual giving level and then priority points within each giving level. In order to be considered for additional season tickets, your annual contribution form and ticket application must be received by July 15. Contributions do not guarantee the purchase of season tickets. The Athletic Department reserves the right to limit patrons to six (6) season tickets per account.

How do I request accessible seats?

Patrons needing to make accessible seating arrangements should contact the Athletic Ticket Office prior to game day, as seats are limited and subject to availability. Patrons may inquire about availability beginning October 20.

What is the process to change my mailing address?

It is the patron’s responsibility to inform the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office of any changes in your address by September 3. Please submit all address changes on your application, in a separate letter or online at uwbadgers.com by logging into your online account.

When can I expect to receive my season tickets?

Season tickets & parking will be mailed approximately October 16 via USPS priority mail service. If available, single-game and package tickets will be mailed no later than seven days prior to the game via first class mail.

Season Parking

Season parking permits for men’s basketball are sold annually using an online selection and payment process reserved specifically as a benefit for active donors who are also men’s basketball season ticket holders. All active donors who are men’s basketball season ticket holders will receive notification via mail, email and telephone as to their individually assigned parking selection date and time. The parking selection date and time will be assigned based on annual giving level and then priority points within each annual giving level. Each active donor account with men’s basketball season tickets will have the option of purchasing up to three (3) men’s basketball season parking permits. Active donors will have the ability to track the annual men’s basketball parking selection process in real time in advance of their actual selection time. This will allow all active donors to stay current with available parking lots in order to maximize their selection time priority. Please contact the Athletic Ticket Office at 1.800.GO BADGERS with questions.

Please note, to be eligible for season men’s basketball parking permits, season ticket holders must order or request season tickets and make their annual contribution by July 15. Active donors who are men’s basketball season ticket holders will be notified as to their annual parking selection date and time with a letter sent on August 12. The online, annual men’s basketball parking selection process will begin August 18 and run through August 26 from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday – Friday therein.

Recommended minimum annual contributions for the opportunity to order parking permits are as follows:

Zone A – All-American Club ($5,000+) or higher: Lot 91, Shaugnessy, U-Haul and Depot.

Zone B – Coach’s Club ($1,000+) or higher: Lot 29, Lot 44, Alexander and Group Health.

Zone C – Walk-On Club ($50+) or higher: Lot 7, Lot 46, Lot 51, and UW Health.

Parking lot availability fluctuates on an annual basis. Due to these factors, it is not possible to forecast the contribution level and priority points necessary to receive a permit in a specific parking lot and/or zone.
